The development of 3g and now LTE (4g) technologies has also led to more sites being needed – add to that wireless adoption in public safety, smart grids and as wireless broadband solutions it all means more sites are being built and that is bringing with it the need to reduce the visual impact of sites.

Historically the need to install screening to camouflage sites was reserved for special sites or as a option of last resort but in the situation where more and more sites are needed then screening will be needed more than ever.  Customers need the increased network capacity but do not want the visual intrusion of more and more equipment on existing sites and the proliferation of new sites.

Screening is a logical development in network roll-outs and will be required more and more often.
